I just got back from the Festival Nrmal in Monterrey where I had a show with the Equipo Plastico. I took advantage of my trip to go back to Tampiquito, visit my friends and take pictures of the paintings I did one year ago. Some of them are exactly the same, others disappeared and others [...]

Some pictures from local photographer Samuel Catherine after one month working under the crazy hot sun (and some other crazy invisible mediatic deseases) at the artist residency “Residencia Tampiquito” in Monterrey, Mexico. I arrived in Mexico 10 days ago for the “Residencia Tampiquito” project, a one month artist residency in Tampiquito, a popular neighbourhood in San Pedro (Monterrey, Nuevo León). The project is quite similar to the “Puerta Lumbreras” project I did in August 2006: Walk around, select spots, ask and paint everywhere I can!
